How to Connect Your Instagram Account

To connect your Instagram account to Confe.io, you’ll need:

• An Instagram Business profile connected to a Facebook Page.

  • If you still have a Personal profile, see: Convert an Instagram Personal profile to a Business profile

  • If you already have a Business profile, see: Meta’s help article: Connect or disconnect an Instagram account and your Page

• The right permissions on the Facebook Page:

  • Full or partial control of your Facebook Page

  • Management access to the Page in your Business Manager account

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Go to Workspace Settings

   • Log in to your Confe.io account.

   • Navigate to your workspace dashboard.

   • Click on Workspace Settings.

2. Open the Connections Tab

   • In Workspace Settings, select the Connections tab.

3. Connect Your Instagram Account

   • Click Connect next to Instagram.

   • A popup or new tab will open for Facebook login.

4. Log In to Facebook

   • Enter your Facebook credentials and log in.

5. Grant Permissions

   • Review and confirm all requested permissions.

   • If you are only connecting Instagram (not Facebook), you will still need to grant permissions through Facebook, as your Instagram Business profile is linked to a Facebook Page.

6. Select Pages to Connect

   • Choose the Facebook Page that is linked to the Instagram account you want to connect.

   • If you have multiple Instagram accounts linked to Facebook Pages, select the appropriate one.

7. Finalize the Connection

   • Click Connect or Reconnect to confirm.

   • You may be prompted to review or confirm additional permissions for Instagram.

8. Success!

   • Once the connection is successful, you’ll see your Instagram account listed in your workspace as “Connected.”

   • You can now schedule posts, access analytics, and manage your Instagram content directly from Confe.io.
