How to Connect Your YouTube Account

Prerequisites

  • A YouTube channel with Shorts enabled.

  • Your YouTube channel connected to Confe.io.

  • A video file that meets YouTube Shorts specifications:

    • File type: MP4 or MOV

    • Max length: 60 seconds

    • Aspect ratio: Square or vertical (9:16 recommended)

    • File size: Up to 100Mb

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Go to Workspace Settings

  • On the top bar, click on the settings gear icon (next to your workspace name).

  • This will take you to the Workspace Settings page.

Step 2: Open Connections Tab

  • Inside Workspace Settings, click on the Connections tab.

  • You will see options to connect different social media platforms.

Step 3: Choose Google Account

  • A Google login screen will open.

  • Select the Google account linked with your YouTube channel.

  • If not listed, click Use another account and log in.

Step 4: Grant Permissions

  • Confe.io will ask for access to manage your YouTube channel.

  • Check the required permissions (they’re usually pre-selected).

  • Click Continue.

Step 5: Select YouTube Channel

  • A popup will appear showing available channels under your account.

  • Select your YouTube channel from the list.

  • Click Connect.
