How to Connect Your Threads Account

Connect your Threads account to Confe.io to schedule posts

Prerequisites

  • You must have a Threads account.

    • Threads is linked to your Instagram account, so you’ll log in with your Instagram credentials.

  • You need permission to connect third-party apps to your Threads account.

    • If you manage a business or team, you may need admin or publishing permissions

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to Workspace Settings

    • Log in to your Confe.io account.

    • Navigate to your workspace dashboard.

    • Click on Workspace Settings.

  2. Open the Connections Tab

    • In Workspace Settings, select the Connections tab.

  3. Connect Your Threads Account

    • Click Connect next to Threads.

    • A popup or new tab will open for Threads/Instagram login.

  4. Log In with Instagram

    • Enter your Instagram username, email, or phone number, and your password.

    • Click Log In or Continue with Instagram.

    • If prompted, authorize Confe.io to access your Threads account.

  5. Authorize Permissions

    • Review the permissions requested by Confe.io.

    • Accept the “Create and share posts on Threads account” permission if shown.

    • Click Authorize or Continue to confirm.

  6. Select Your Threads Profile

    • If you have multiple Threads profiles, select the one you want to connect.

    • Click Connect or Add.

  7. Success!

    • Once connected, your Threads account will appear as “Connected” in your workspace.

    • You can now schedule, manage, and analyze your Threads content directly from Confe.io.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • If you can’t log in:

    • Make sure you’re using the correct Instagram credentials.

    • Try logging out of Instagram and back in before connecting.

  • If you don’t see your Threads account:

    • Double-check that you have the right permissions for your Threads profile.

    • If you manage a team, ensure you have admin or publishing access2.

  • If you want to add multiple Threads accounts:

    • Repeat the process for each account.
